    • Russian Language Abroad - A teaching and methodological illustrated journal for teachers of Russian as a foreign (non-native) language and Russian literature. It was founded in 1967 on the initiative of the International Association of Teachers of Russian Language and Literature (MAPRYAL) and the Scientific and Methodological Center for Russian Language at Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov, and played a very important role in spreading the Russian language in many countries.

      The journal Russian Language Abroad publishes educational materials for use in Russian as a foreign language classes, reading texts, methodological and linguistic developments, news in the field of teaching Russian to foreigners, reports on various conferences, seminars, round tables, Olympiads, and other events in Russian studies.
