"Literaturnyj Fact" is a peer-reviewed academic philological journal dedicated to fundamental research in the history of Russian literature and the literatures of the peoples of the Russian Federation, as well as the literatures of the peoples of the world.

The journal is aimed at a professional audience of literary researchers, as well as readers interested in a deeper acquaintance with the latest achievements of philological science. Its main goal is to present hard-to-access archival materials and related original author's research to domestic and foreign specialists.

The journal was founded in 2016.

The founder of the journal "Literaturnyj Fact" is the A.M. Gorky Institute of World Literature of the Russian Academy of Sciences (IMLI RAS).
